AB-PROFINET-IO-2 is een Anybus-communicatiemodule voor Softstarters / Spare Parts die softstarters rechtstreeks koppelt aan PROFINET-IO. De module wordt gebruikt om besturing, parametrering en diagnose via het PLC-netwerk mogelijk te maken, zodat motorstarters eenvoudig worden geïntegreerd in bestaande industriële automatisering.De twee-poorts PROFINET-switch maakt lijn- en ringtopologieën mogelijk zonder extra netwerkhardware. Dit verkort de bekabeling, vereenvoudigt de uitbreiding van installaties en ondersteunt snelle inbedrijfname. Realtime status- en foutdiagnose versnellen probleemoplossing en helpen stilstand te voorkomen. Centrale parametrering via engineeringtools vermindert handwerk en maakt consistente configuratie over meerdere softstarters heen. Dankzij de betrouwbare Anybus-implementatie levert de AB-PROFINET-IO-2 stabiele communicatieprestaties, terwijl remote monitoring en updates de levenscyclus ondersteunen.
