De AB-ETHERCAT-IP-2 is een Anybus-communicatiemodule voor de PSTX-serie softstarters. Deze module wordt gebruikt om softstarters naadloos te koppelen aan EtherCAT-netwerken en biedt directe toegang tot besturing, bewaking en parametrering vanuit de besturingslaag. Dankzij de 2-poorts switch kan eenvoudig in lijn- of daisy-chain-topologie worden doorverbonden, zonder extra netwerkcomponenten.Belangrijke voordelen zijn snelle inbedrijfname, betrouwbare real‑time data-uitwisseling en heldere diagnose- en alarmmeldingen voor minimale stilstand. De module ondersteunt statusmonitoring en parameterbeheer, wat voorspelbaar onderhoud en efficiëntere procescontrole mogelijk maakt. Compacte opbouw en passende bekabeling zorgen voor een nette panelintegratie, terwijl standaard EtherCAT-communicatie zorgt voor interoperabiliteit met gangbare PLC’s en HMI’s.
